- Retract-a-Shade is composed of four high tension springs enclosed of heat resistant material, high quality synthetic chord, heat resistant fabric (gray), Velcro fasteners, and 3M adhesive mounting pads.
Installation & Product Specifications
Retract-a-Shade is universal and fits windshields 23" and up. The mounting pads adhere to the inside of the windshield (NOT the side pillar posts).
1. Seperate the left and right halves of the Retract-a-Shade by pulling the Velcro center tabs. Place the pointed end of the shade toward the bottom of the windshield.
2. Center each half of the Retract-a-Shade so there is equal space between the top and the bottom of the windshield. This will give you an idea as to where the Retract-a-Shade mounting pads are to be mounted.
3. Using the enclosed alcohol cleaning pad, wipe the area on the windshield where the Retract-a-Shade mounting pads will be placed.
4. Peel the protective cover from the mounting pads. Position the Retrac-a-Shade on the windshield as in step 2. Press firmly to the windshield.
