Learning From My CustomersBy Tom David Lewis | Thu, 12 Jan 2006 It is not so easy to stay motivated and constantly come up with ideas. It was a slow day and I emailed one of my customers to see if I could somehow figure out how spend my time more productively. Possibly a sale or some input that would help me get out of the slump. Here is the email that I received. It helped me to a better frame of mind."Cold and rainy here. Have been working on e-bay listings. Need to sell some of what I have before I can do anything else. Maybe some small wholesale lots of items you have listed in larger quantities, minimum one inner or dozen quantities? E-mail campaign? Long lunch? Mid-week surprise break, shut down Then read a book, or take a walk, or visit a tourist site , or ride the ferry or anything else you would like to do but seldom find time for. Find me a buyer for 1000 Easter Yard Banners (case pack 200, min. one case) at 1.25 each or more. Take Your Mom to lunch. Locate one new potential source of closeouts. If you already considered these, just remember great minds think alike. If not pick one and go.
